"I can't have information I know would be of interest to someone and not share it." — Sanford Berman

My research interests fall between the cross-sections of traditional library cataloging and emerging technologies. I am interested in how libraries can leverage metadata to create innovative systems to provide better access to their collections. I write and lecture on open-source solutions, metadata standards, social media, and community outreach.
